  • Are you open during the COVID-19 Pandemic?

    In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the CDC’s current recommendations, Recreational Music Center has suspended all in-person activities until further notice. Virtual options are now available for Early Childhood classes, group classes, private music lessons and summer camp. 

    During this unprecedented time, we would like to encourage all music lovers to continue to practice and explore music. As a community, we are here to support you!

  • When are you available?

    Our current office hours are Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 5 PM. Lessons and classes are Monday-Friday by appointment.

  • What is your tuition policy?

    All lessons and classes are paid for at the time of booking. RMC does not offer refunds or credits for missed lessons, camps or group classes.

  • How do I register for virtual programs?

    Create a user account from our website. Parents should first create an account using the parent name and information. Once the parent account is created, you will see an option to “add a family member.” Each child should then be added (you may add additional family members at a later date). Be sure to add pictures to each student profile!

    It is important to note that all students are automatically OPTED-IN to receiving emails from RMC as all Zoom links will be sent via email. Changing this setting may inadvertently affect your lesson time! 

  • How do I book a virtual group class?

    Group class enrollment is a two-part process (purchase option + enrollment).

    To book a group class, log onto your parent account and choose the child’s name from the drop down menu.

    Once you are on the child’s account, choose your class option for purchase. After your purchase you must enroll the child into the group class. Students that have not “enrolled” in the class, will not receive a Zoom link.

  • How do I book a private online music lesson?

    To book a lesson for a child, log onto your parent account and choose the child’s name from the drop-down menu. Once you’re on the child’s account, choose your instrument, lesson length, instructor and time. Your Zoom link will be sent by 10am the day of your scheduled lesson.

    Booking for yourself? Simply log onto your account, choose your instrument and lesson length, instructor and time. Your Zoom link will be sent by 10am the day of your lesson.

  • It's 10 AM on the day of my lesson and I haven't received my Zoom link!

    Be sure to check your spam folder.

    If you still haven’t received the link, call us at (619) 225-9597 or email us at info@rmcsandiego.org at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled lesson time and we’ll assist you.
